WHAT IF THIS ISN'T THE END?

What if what you think is the end isn’t the end at all? What if this difficult moment is simply a season — one with a beginning, a middle, and an end — and right now, you are only in the middle? Or perhaps you are standing at the close of one chapter, about to step into another.

The way we frame life’s trials matters. When we make peace with the fact that seasons change, we find the courage to keep moving, even when the weight feels unbearable. But when we adopt an all-or-nothing mindset, we set ourselves up for disappointment.

The Trap of “All or Nothing”

If success for you is defined as earning £2 million, then when you reach £1 million, you might feel like a failure. I’m not saying you should lower your standards or settle for less. I’m saying, recognise that life is not a single destination. It is a journey filled with milestones, detours, pauses, and unexpected surprises.

When you treat life as a destination, you put your joy on hold until you finally “arrive.” And here’s the danger: when you do arrive, the celebration may not look the way you imagined. Sometimes the people you expected to be waiting there are not. Sometimes the moment itself feels anticlimactic.

Joy Is Also In The Middle

Joy isn’t reserved for the finish line. It is also in the middle — in the laughter of loved ones, in shared meals with friends, in the small victories we often overlook. True celebration is found along the way: in the lessons learned, the obstacles overcome, and the quiet reminders that we are still standing.

If you keep postponing joy until you “make it,” you risk missing the life you already have.

A Better Way

True peace comes when we stop treating life like a race towards a single destination. Each season has its own meaning. Each step forward is worth honouring.

So today, don’t wait. Celebrate how far you’ve come. Celebrate the resilience it took to get here. Celebrate the fact that you’re still moving. Because this is not the end. This is simply part of the journey.
